FAQs
How Long Will It Take for My Order to be Delivered?
If you select the standard shipping option, then it will typically take 3-5 working days for your order to arrive. However, if you require your order sooner, you can select the express shipping option which should only take 1-2 working days. We ship items via Royal Mail and Parcelforce, please take into account when placing orders that our couriers do not collect or deliver on Sundays and bank holidays, therefore orders around these days will take slightly longer.
It is important to note that we do not deliver to locations outside of the UK. If you are ordering to locations outside of the UK mainland such as Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands you may incur a fixed charge of £7.50.

The Item I Want is Out of Stock, What Can I Do?
If the item you are after is out of stock you can email info@theearlyteacher.com to find out when the next delivery is due to arrive. We try to make sure we have new stock ordered and on its way before an item sells out to avoid any disappointment, however, items that do sell out are replaced as quickly as possible.

Are Wooden Toys Safe for Babies?
Wooden toys are safe for babies because they are designed in shapes and sizes that are manageable for their small hands. Furthermore, the wooden toys we supply are safe for babies due to them being made with no harmful paints or chemicals. All toys and games stocked at The Early Teacher have passed the relevant safety tests. This means that you do not need to worry about your babies putting pieces near their mouths, as long as they are age appropriate, so not small enough to be a choking hazard.
For example, our rainbow stacking pebbles toy is suitable for babies ages 18 months or older and is made from solid wood, using non-toxic paints. For more information on how wooden toys are safe for babies, take a look at our recent blog on the advantages of wooden toys by clicking here.
